Announcing their SS21 collection, adidas SPEZIAL dive into a world of vintage sportswear aesthetics, long-lost footwear silhouettes and classic casual style. Plucking references from the latter portion of the 20th Century, the German sportswear stalwarts' sub-line composes an aesthetic that blends quintessential retro design with modern coastal surfing neons.

Featuring a plethora of beloved sneakers, both fan-favourites and tweaked versions of less known models from adidas' expansive history deliver that instantly recognisable SPEZIAL charm. The iconic Malmo style from the City Series is reinvented here, brimming with inspiration from a rare mesh rendition of the silhouette dated to 1976, while the Hoylake is based on a rare South African shoe, only recently discovered by an adidas collector in Merseyside.

Rounding off the collection with an outdoor infused selection of apparel, SPEZIAL share the Aldrington Anorak - a garment popularised in Japan almost three decades ago- complete with a '90s baggy fit and pops of neon pink.
