The collaboration between Moncler Genius and Palm Angels is a homecoming for Francesco Ragazzi, the creative director of the streetwear brand – he began his career with the luxury outdoor outfitter. In the resulting collection, the designer’s reverence for Moncler’s heritage is clear – but he is keen to show off his subversive design credentials, too. This black crewneck tee is anything but classic – deconstructed to create a jagged hem, with outseams dragged inwards and left exposed, it cuts a striking initial impression. A white leather Moncler brand patch marks the chest, while the two brand logos merge at the metal plate on the sleeve. To the back, the words MIND CONTROL are bordered by Moncler’s rooster motif, while to finish, the Palm Angels name is tattooed in gothic script at the throat.
