British-Jamaican designer Martine Rose returns with a refresh of her now-iconic Nike Shox MR4. The Shox basketball silhouette that draws from the vibrant hues of '90s goalkeeper shirts, the latest edition launches with a titular resurgence. Originally the style of elite female footballers inspired the design, yet the latest collaboration embodies the fusion of opposites. With elements of dress shoes mixed with sporty sensibilities. Stretched and pulled into a new mule shape, the sneakers columns are lifted into a heel and the toe is squared off in a formalwear flourish. With a synthetic leather upper, embossed padding offers contrast detailing. Finished with decorative piping and striking colours for an ode to the on pitch style of football.
