Angelo Baque’s Awake NY is a brand heavily inspired by the milieu of the ‘90s, taking inspiration from the subcultures and music genres integral to the era. With Awake NY and Converse’s debut partnership, Angelo Baque continues to pen a love letter to the ‘90s, celebrating the One Star and its deep-rooted connection to the decade.
The sneaker arrives in a duo of colours, a more muted black and a vibrant blue colourway, with both constructed using a hairy suede across their uppers and detailed with collaborative branding: Awake NY’s script worked into the One Star sidewall branding.
