With an aesthetic blurring the lines between sport and sartorial style, BED j.w. FORD and adidas join forces to offer a capsule that would look appropriate on the field, the streets or the runway. Adding its signature avant-garde touch to the polarising Kamanda, the Japanese label opts for a monochromatic black across the entire construction to let the silhouette do the talking. Wearing a combination of premium nubuck and performance-focussed Primeknit, the sock-like uppers sit atop a heavily-textured outsole – inspired by an ‘80s football prototype – to prove that the two juxtaposing aesthetics can coexist in harmonious fashion.
