Based on WW2 Era Jungle Cape, a design which incorporated an extended collar so that soldiers could join multiple jackets together to create a makeshift tent, this new edition of the Nigel Cabourn Cape Cameraman Jacket is inspired by another archive piece of his own, with its own unique history. A brand new material for SS15, it is based on a piece a Japanese carpenter who bought the SS12 iteration and put it through years of hard use in his workshop, with multiple re-waxings and reparations, creating a stunningly worn in aesthetic that Nigel has recreated by taking a Japanese cotton poplin and having it waxed in the UK. Closed with besoke Union Knopf metal buttons, it has four chest pockets and adjustable cuffs.
