Nigel Cabourn

With humble beginnings in the North East of England, Nigel Cabourn has firmly made his mark as a stalwart of British design.

Rewind back to the late '60s, and Cabourne was studying fashion design in Newcastle, absorbing inspirations from the flower power era, including British and English pop music and the Vietnam War, the influences that went on to inspire the label 1970 initially dubbed ‘Cricket’. Cabourn’s venture soon became a cult-followed namesake brand. With more than five decades of crafting ‘future-vintage’ under its belt, Nigel Cabourn menswear holds four sub-labels under its umbrella. Let us break them down for you.

Let's start with Army Gym; think old school athletics and jersey sportswear made in Portugal as well as the Authentic line, where heritage fabrics take on classic outdoor and military garb silhouettes like parka coats, mechanic jackets, and liners, all made in Great Britain.

Alongside our selection of Mainline and Nigel Cabourn Lybro, you’ll find t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hard-working jackets that breathe new life into traditional workwear garments. Fit for the modern day, they channel practical details like hammer loops and reinforced stitches, showcasing Cabourn’s affinity for the country and its innovative fabrics and production techniques.

The British brand, aka ‘national treasure,’ doesn’t follow fashion. Nigel Cabourn is instead infatuated with the past and has amassed a collection of old-school military, sports, expedition, workwear clothing, and books from all corners of the globe.

Expect to see natural patinas and time-honoured detailing across the men's Nigel Cabourn selection. Chore Jackets (an instant hit with new and old fans) are destined to be passed onto your kids, grandkids, and your grandkid’s kids.
