END. PRESENTS "CHIP SHOP" WITH ADIDAS, PICANTE & LOCAL SPACE

Starting END.'s 20th anniversary with a coastal excursion, we linked up with adidas, PICANTE and Local Space for a bite to eat at our favourite chip shop.

Presenting the beginning of their 20th anniversary celebrations, British retailer END. visit their beloved North East coastline to honour this momentous milestone. Split into three sections, the “Coastal” collection captures all the pleasures of the seaside, from the culinary delights of the traditional chippy and the rugged beauty of the North Sea to the neon-tinged arcade.   

 Honouring the origins of END. and its beginnings in the North East of England, the retailer have linked up with collaborators, old and new, to share a capsule collection inspired by locations synonymous with the Great British seaside. Populating the North East coast and serving up a selection of seafood specialties, the chippy is an emblem of British summertime, and the key focus of this part of our 20th anniversary celebrations. First fuelling up at the pride and joy of many British beaches, END. have joined forces with adidas to present a gastronomic twist on their BW Army shoe. 

Served up in the sneaker’s classic white and grey combination, scale-textured panels to the side wall nod to the chip shop’s dish of choice: fish and chips. Fluffy laces add further texture to the sneaker, while a contrasting dark grey suede panel sits to the heel. Co-branded patches at the tongue cement adidas and END.’s partnership further, sat above a signature adidas gum sole unit. Inside, the shoe’s insole is made up of collaged articles from previous END. and adidas collaborations, mirroring the traditional fish and chips wrapping: newspaper. A co-branded vinegar packet details both the insole and the underside of the tongue, while bespoke box branding adds further fanfare to the union. 

Made complete with apparel and accessory offerings from London’s PICANTE and Manchester’s Local Space, fish and chips themed prints and graphics add flair and playfulness to the themed collection. PICANTE’s 6-piece apparel selection delivers their trademark graphic style, with the designs nodding to iconic chippy branding and newspaper layouts, while Local Space further embed the collection’s key themes with a duo of their signature Logo Caps, finished with ‘Chip Shop’ branding and collection motifs.
