Californian skate icon Vans Vault is teaming up with Los Angeles based GALLERY DEPT. for an artistic reimagination of its Old Skool sneakers. Artist and GALLERY DEPT. designer Josué Thomas offers his own spin on this classic style with the Good Luck Old Skool design. This custom, text-heavy design features phrases like ‘Earth crisis’ and ‘panic’ at the side walls for a general air of chaos, while the thick yellow laces are adorned with a repeated ‘good luck’ print. Vans’ signature jazz stripes are reimagined in fuzzy fabric and the distressed soles are detailed with upside down GALLERY DEPT. branding for a bold take on a well-known silhouette.
