11 November 2022Crocs and Salehe Bembury reunite with “Sasquatch”: the latest iteration of their cutting-edge take on the Clog.
Salehe Bembury is a designer who sits at the cutting-edge of footwear, creating products with an unwavering approach to experimentalism. His ongoing partnership with Crocs is a testimony to that — a collaborative relationship that has spawned one of the most hyper-innovative Clogs ever created, the Pollex.
The latest iteration, dubbed the “Sasquatch”, represents a somewhat subtle approach, at least in terms of the black colour that appears throughout. The rest, however, is as out-there as always, with three moulds of Bembury’s fingerprints formed together to create the striking, concaved ridges that appear throughout. There are holes staggered across the uppers, too, specially designed to align with high-heat areas of the feet for breathability.
