adidas is no stranger when it comes to playful sneakers, having transformed many classics using bold details and unconventional themes. Take the three stripes’ ongoing collaboration with Jeremy Scott, for instance, or the label’s long list of movie-inspired sneakers.
M&M's-Inspired Detailing
With adidas’ latest collaboration, the label looks to the confectionary world, reworking the Forum Low with inspiration drawn from a bag of M&M’s peanut chocolates. The sneakers come in a bevy of colourways to reflect the confectionary’s signature colours, with yellow, green, red, orange and brown iterations.
Co-Branding
The playful theme continues with the details, with three stripes that mimic the groove lines found on the edges of M&M bags, peanut-coloured lining and characters worked into the sockliners.
