Defining the standards in US horology since 1854, Timex lay claim to a rich heritage of quality watchmaking with accolades ranging from collaborations with IRONMAN to endorsements from classic American novelist, Mark Twain.

For their latest release, Timex have reworked the classic MK1 style in a gamut of four colours which replaces the traditional plastic casing with light-weight aluminium, built to stand the test of time.

Designed in 1982 for exclusive distribution to the US Marines, the Timex MK1 holds fast as an icon of US military heritage and blends the rugged functionality of combat-gear with Timex's polish and finesse.

Originally intended as a disposable timepiece for short term military use, the initial release was defined by its ultra light-weight plastic casing and fully encased irreplaceable battery.

Produced for just 2 months and positioned as a throwaway item complete with disposal instructions, units from the original release have become highly coveted collectors' items among enthusiasts of US military paraphernalia and an inner-sanctum of loyal Timex customers looking to cop one of the rarest elements of the brand's heritage.

Following the 2016 re-release of the classic plastic MK1 watch, Timex have partnered exclusively with END. for 2017's reinterpretation of this iconic style. No longer disposable, the new MK1 features a built-to-last architectural-grade aluminium casing that stays true to the watch's lightweight character while establishing the style as a key-staple of the modern man's capsule accessory collection.

The MK-1 Aluminium is a reinterpretation of an iconic style from the Timex Archives. A classic reimagined and brought forward into 2017. Utilising aluminium which is usually reserved for architectural applications, the MK1 Aluminium is light-weight, strong, and most importantly looks great on the wrist.
