Nike’s ISPA line continues to push the boundaries of innovation, creating sneakers that tread the boundary between esoteric style and prototype. The latest, the Drifter Gator, is no exception. A follow up to the previously released Drifter Split, the model shares the underfoot tooling and wedge shape of the former silhouette but deviates in a number of bold ways.
Constructed with a more conventional toe box, the heel houses a twist on the norm. Featuring a large hip pack-inspired pouch that houses a waterproof gator, the Drifter Gator serves as a reminder of ISPA’s function-first ethos.
