Nigo is a multihyphenate renowned for his deep appreciation for archival styling, having amassed a personal collection of rare and coveted pieces throughout the years. His label, Human Made, serves as a reflection of this passion, with classic style codes present with just about everything under the Human Made name.
His ongoing partnership with adidas is no exception to that, with the latest from the two following suit. The partnership includes three reworks of the adidas Adimatic: a chunky, skate-focused sneaker that first gained a cult following when it debuted in 1996. The collaboration follows on from the silhouette’s revival earlier this year, showcasing Nigo’s longstanding love of reworking archival designs.
The three iterations come in off-white and orange, grey and blue and green and brown, with each one retaining the style codes that made the sneaker so popular when it debuted. Each one comes with exaggerated details typical of the era it debuted, with the tongues, laces and three stripes all oversized. A double helping of branding adds to the collaborative look, with patches at the tongues and Human Made’s heart logo at the heels.
