Stone Island Shadow Project has long been associated with a forward-looking approach to textiles, and this parka exemplifies why. It’s made using a rubberised linen fabric — a technique inspired by the parent label’s archives — that’s padded with PrimaLoft® to make it lightweight, water-resistant and warm, too. Velcro patches feature at the chest — a newly developed pass-through feature to allow lighter products from the collection to be attached to it — and, of course, a tonal compass is used at one arm.
This garment has been produced using piece-dyeing methods. As a result, the colour may fade with wear and dye transfer onto lighter clothing may occur.
