Immersed in the realms of fashion, music and art, Blondey drops the second instalment from his namesake label. Paying tribute to pop culture with a particular focus on the ‘80s, the Thames designer confesses a connection with the ambiguity of culture from the era – addressing this tee with a DIY-style print of The Pogues’ own Shane MacGowan and Kirsty MacColl. Subtly referencing the lyrics of ‘Fairytale of New York’, the fresh white tee features a tinted print of MacGowan with MacColl’s portrait laid over the top; establishing a ripped aesthetic, with popular culture remaining at the core.
