20 November 2023Nike takes us back to 1984 by reissuing the Nike Mac Attack OG.
Back in 1984, Nike released a shoe which catapulted to notoriety in the world of tennis, serving as the antitheses to the clean lined, no-frills sneakers that then dominated the sport. That sneaker was the Mac Attack, its coveted status only elevated by John McEnroe’s on-court theatrics wearing the shoe.
Now, nearly four decades after its inception, Nike is revisiting the legendary shoe in all of its glory, reissuing it in the same specification as the OG release. It brings with it all of the retro charm of the OG, arriving in the same grey and black colourway and featuring the sneaker’s checkerboard patch at the tongues.
