Bringing adidas Consortium's 2017 sneaker exchange project to an explosive conclusion, adidas drew a line between Atlanta and Taipei, connecting A Ma Maniere and INVINCIBLE for a refined sneaker duo which explored the outer limits of luxury.

The Sneaker Exchange 2017 has challenged retailers to overcome geographical distance and cultural difference to discover common ground and collaborate on innovative riffs on classic adidas silhouettes that speak to each retailer's ideals and ethos but combine to become more than the sum of their parts; reverent snapshots in time for international sneaker culture.

For the 12th release, A Ma Maniere and INVINCIBLE reworked two of adidas' most iconic contemporary silhouette - an NMD_R1 and an UltraBOOST - linked together by a shared love of ornate details and interior design.

In an increasingly experiential economy, sublime interior design and innovative shop fits have become vital components in the success of premium retail locations. Apart from furnishings and fittings - an awareness of space, understanding of perspective, technical ability, and creative flair are now fundamental requirements in the development of next-generation retail spaces. This focus on the importance of luxury interior experience is central to both A Ma Maniere and INVINCIBLE's successes in their respective homelands.

Uppers on both the NMD R1 and the UltraBOOST are constructed in a cashmere wool Primeknit - arriving in a clean black and white palette respectively. Through subtle decorative detailing such as the inverted last patterns, lacquered rivets and luminescent fibres and branding on the UltraBOOST, A Ma Maniére and Invincible create upscale footwear utilizing innovative materials with meticulous precision.
