Alexander Girard designed 'Wooden Dolls' in 1952 - a collection of human and animal characters inspired by folk art and artefacts. After his heirs donated them to the Vitra Design Museum, they were imitated and re-produced. We can't quite work out No.3's expression, but he's a charming addition in the home to say the least.
Each wooden figure is a unique, individual product and is truly one of a kind.
