EditorialNEW BALANCE M1906R: Five Ways to Style
6 November 2024We join members of the END. community as they demonstrate five ways to style New Balance’s M1906R.
Since its introduction in 2022, New Balance’s M1906R has cemented itself as a mainstay in the world of fashion, capturing the techy, noughties aesthetic of the original 1906 – released in 2009 – and bringing it into the now. Reflecting the eminent wearability of the sneaker, we linked up with five members of the END. community to showcase how the sneaker seamlessly fits into their everyday wardrobes.
We joined Ben Collins, Fin Beso, Dex Durrant, Roz Sardarr and Chloe Ellis, with each figure demonstrating their own singular approach to styling. Ben Collins opted for an all-black pair of New Balance M1906Rs, pairing this with dark wash denim from Dime and outerwear from C.P. Company, namely a black hooded sweatshirt and a Chrome-R Mixed down vest. Roz Sardarr, meanwhile, opted for a pair white and green M1906Rs, combining these with a black Adanola long sleeve top, a black Gramicci Midi skirt and a vibrant, multicoloured check scarf from Acne Studios.
Chloe Ellis opted for a more utilitarian approach, leaning in on the technical aesthetic of the M1906R. A grey Patagonia quarter zip is paired with relaxed-fitting Needles fatigue pants, as well as a Klättermusen side bag. Dex Durrant, meanwhile, pairs silver M1906Rs with a bold green Moncler Maya jacket and grey Lady White Co sweatpants, offering a relaxed take on the sneaker. To complete the looks, Fin Beso combines white and grey M1906Rs with a diamond stitch ROA down jacket and baggy Dime jeans, showcasing the effortless styling at the core of the M1906R.
