Linking up with Japanese sportswear brand ASICS for the first time, Story mfg. reimagine the classic GEL-VENTURE 6 silhouette, reworking the running sneaker through an outdoor-influenced lens. Bringing together details that allude to an array of pastimes, from hiking and picnics to crafting, the two-sneaker capsule pays homage to the quiet beauty of hobbies.

Made using a combination of recycled and responsibly sourced materials, Story mfg.’s take on the runner sees the softer tones of both the Reddish Brown and the Vanilla & Violet Quartz colourways punctuated with gingham check across the shoe’s uppers. Delivered with two sets of laces, the sneaker has been styled with woven-inspired lacing in a nod to Story mfg. co-founder Saeed Al-Rubeyi’s teenage memories of local skateboarding style in Baghdad.
