AN ART CLUB WITH END. & BIRKENSTOCK @ BEAUBEAUS – EVENT RECAP

Celebrating the launch of the Birkenstock Tokio, END. hosted an Art Club at BeauBeaus: the café and community space located in East London.

BeauBeaus represents something much greater than just a café, providing a community space for creatives to come together, connect and amplify each other’s work. Art Club, the initiative hosted every Wednesday by Teoni and other artists, represents the epitome of this, bringing like-minded artists together to pursue their creative passions in unity.

Channelling this community spirit, END. and Birkenstock linked up with Art Club to host a session at the much-loved BeauBeaus, with regulars Teoni Hinds, Aaron Oddoye, Emily Stanisavlević, Ghislain and Santanna all leading the session. Celebrating the artist’s work, bespoke pieces were displayed around BeauBeaus on easels as well as print outs to celebrate their creative practices.

With the Art Club itself, the groups were split up into three tables where they collaborated on big pieces, using charcoal on linen that was passed around the room. As well as this, each person was given paper to draw portraits of one and other, which were then swapped and painted using acrylic by the respective subjects. Each person in attendance received their own pair of Birkenstocks, too, allowing them to create their artwork in comfort.
