visvim designer Hiroki Nakamura evolves classic items of American clothing into new, exciting concept pieces. With the classic FBT sneaker, he takes the Native American moccasin – one of the first types of footwear ever created – and turns it into a sporty, street-ready shoe with the addition of a cork footbed and rubber outsole. Rendered here in textured tan suede, they are completed with a suede flap at the collar and leather, bead-trimmed tassels – a nod to the shoe’s Native American counterpart. A cream leather pull tab, branded with the visvim logo, sits on the tongue, whilst the leather lining provides day-long comfort.
