Sacai’s design approach is one that celebrates hybrid construction techniques, with familiar styles fused together to create something experimental and new. Chitose Abe’s label is back with Nike again this season, and unsurprisingly, it’s that approach that’s taken. This black hoody, for example, is cut from a blend of cotton and recycled polyester, then spliced with nylon inserts borrowed from Nike’s Team USA Windrunner jacket. There’s a collection-specific logo printed at the chest, too, and coloured in contrasting bright white.
