Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory wants his voice, and the voice of millions of Black Americans, to be heard loud and clear, covering this Converse Chuck Taylor 70s Hi in the black, red and green of both the Pan-African flag and the Liberty Rock. The hues — each with a much, much deeper meaning — cover the model’s canvas uppers and signature rubber tooling, while a Denim Tears plaque replaces the iconic All Star variant on the heel of the left shoe.
