A genuinely iconic meeting of footwear and technology, the adidas Originals Micropacer OG is reissued just in time for it’s 30th birthday. Originally released to coincide with the Los Angeles Olympics the integration of an analogue LCD screen directly into the upper was a both a real turning point in performance design and a sign of just how close equipment and technology would become in the years to follow. This one-to-one release celebrates everything that made the OG make up a legend, from the metallic leather upper to navy and red detailing and of course the all important LCD screen that gives the silhouette its name.
