It all started over a conversation at lunch when OpéraSPORT founders Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina Stelter realised they shared the same dream. Just three months after that conversation, OpéraSport was born in 2019 - and the rest is history. Their previous experiences in the industry have helped boost the profile of the brand: Gundelach was a Paris-based stylist and consultant, and Stelter has spent decades working for retailers in Copenhagen. Sustainability is part of the brand’s DNA. Each piece in its collection is made up of recycled textile fibres from industrial waste, such as recycled silk, recycled cashmere, recycled wool and recycled polyester, but also incorporates organic cotton into its editions, too. Unlike other brand’s, OperaSport operates with edition releases - with four collections a year - as a means to limit excess. Releasing editions means the emphasis on producing responsible and relevant clothing with good quality is KEY rather than quantity. The ideas for each of the Danish brand’s collections come from the creative influence of Nordics with the stylistic passion of Paris - arguably two of fashion's most iconic cities, so what’s not to love about that? Each collection is packed with elegant meets sporty, luxurious yet affordable and eco-conscious, sensual pieces that are sure to help form your capsule wardrobe. Think colourful sweats that contrast pops of neon colour, skirts and shirts with traditional cuts and contemporary detailing, you’ll find them all here, at END.
