A sneaker phenomenon born in ’98; the Nike Air Max Plus – otherwise known as TN – has transcended its performance roots to become a cultural icon and streetwear legend. Re-released in its OG colourway, the Swoosh celebrate 20 years of ‘Tuned’ Air with the unmistakeable 'Hyperblue' fade dressing the Plus’ curves and lines. Designed by industry veteran Sean McDowell, the TN's distinctive look was imagined whilst McDowell was on vacation in Florida; whilst beachside, the blue sky fading to dark blue at dusk, and the palm trees blowing in the wind would define the sneaker's look. Shaping the way the TN would look in design, the beauty of that sunset fired his imagination, creating a colourway that would be re-released and celebrate two decades later. Tuning in to the TN as the street culture icon turns 20, the signature hexagonal branding is also back in all of its glory at the tongue. Keeping the ‘Tuned’ Air of the original, this next generation version gets a fresh makeover with a durable synthetic and textile upper, while the famed system is firmly embedded in the sole unit.
