A strong theme acts as the connective link between Sean Wotherspoon’s collaborations, with the creative renowned for his experimental and uncompromising approach to sneaker design.
His latest link up with adidas represents this ethos perfectly, transforming the ever-iconic Gazelle through his unconventional lens. In keeping with both partners’ emphasis on eco-minded methods of craft, the sneakers are made using a woven hemp material, resulting in an intricate, green and white patterning throughout the shoe. The unique detailing continues elsewhere, with a semi-translucent, gum rubber sole unit, a cork insole and Sean Wotherspoon’s embroidered logo at the heels.
