Capturing the hues of L.A.’s sun drenched streets in recycled cotton form, John Elliott showcases his signature ‘Ink Bloom’ technique with the delivery of this short sleeved ‘University’ tee. Made in Japan, the unique piece has been decorated using a proprietary two-step process that challenges traditional tie dye methods through a reverse-engineered approach. First, it has been dyed white, then coloured, and finally treated with an extra ozone wash to desaturate the colours; resulting in a painterly, watercolour effect.
