adidas may have recently returned as Arsenal FC’s kit manufacturer, but this jersey from Pharrell Williams’ latest Human Race capsule references one of the last team shirts to bear the three stripes in the ‘90s. The iconic chevrons of the Gunners’ 1991-93 away strip meets the tie-dye of this season’s third kit on the ribbed, recycled polyester, using inky shades of cobalt and lemon that reflect Pharrell’s vibrant aesthetic. The club’s signature red is ever-present on the trims and badge branding — both of which are distorted, though, as if hand-drawn.
