The collaboration between Vans Vault and Japanese artist and designer Taka Hayashi has produced some truly individual and forward thinking designs that stand apart from the heritage of the world’s most popular skate brand. Renowned for his immaculate craftsmanship and high-end approach to sneaker design, Taka Hayashi gives the legendary brands’ SK8 Hi silhouette a face-lift, combining intricately laser cut leather uppers with a tan leather overlay to the toe cap and tongue. The sneaker is finished off with rawhide laces, branded logo to the heel and embroidered collaborative logo to the tongue in contrast white stitching.
