Starting off with a military grade cotton satin weave, it is then bonded with a polyurethane cover that made the fabric both water and wind resistant then then faded in selected areas with a corrosive paste. The bleached parts have then been hand painted with a tortoise shell inspired motive also polluting the Stone Island badge on the left sleeve. This extraordinary manual process makes each piece unique and unrepeatable.
