MONCLER GENIUS X ADIDAS: From the Mountain to the City

Moncler and adidas come together to push the boundaries of co-creation, finding inspiration in the journey between mountainous peaks and the city below. For decades, Moncler has represented the pinnacle of outerwear, relentlessly innovating to create garments that combine peak functionality with aesthetics. adidas Originals, meanwhile, has equally sat at the forefront of street culture, symbolising a uniform for a vast number of movements and subcultures across the globe.
Celebrating that, the collection represents an explorative journey from the summit to the city, representing the perfect intersection of both brand’s identities. The collection is comprised of puffers, both long and short, as well as track jackets and vests representing the collection’s fusion of city and mountain.
Moncler’s iconic lacquered nylon features throughout the collection, reimagined in unique shapes with distinctive details that reflect adidas’ famous design codes. A pullover puffer with a Trefoil front and centre, for instance, or a three-striped puffer with distorted baffles. Sinuous quilting, jacquards and prints are all inspired by Moncler’s mountainous origins, designed to reference skiers on snow-covered slopes. The synergy between form and function underpins the footwear, too, with adidas’ NMD given a winter makeover with bubble padding and GORE-TEX technology.
