The style’s simplicity has always leant itself to customisation, and this wine-red pair takes that to the extreme. The glossy, vegan-friendly upper is wrapped in antiquated chains adorned with all manner of custom trinkets and treasures, from the everyday to the gaudy— think jewelled charms, vintage-style keys, even a whistle. Despite the DIY makeover, though, classic construction details remain unchanged. It’s completed with the iconic AirWair™ sole— secured with yellow welt stitching, of course— and a pastel-toned heel tab.
