Adidas x Wales Bonner SambaBlack, Chalk White & Lucky Blue
When Grace Wales Bonner unveiled her first collaboration with adidas Originals back in 2020, it was like a breath of fresh air for the Samba silhouette. Fast forward to FW23, and the dynamic duo of the German sportswear giant and the sought-after designer are still making waves with their elevated takes on the classic three-stripes icon. Retaining the iconic foldover tongue, three-stipes and gum rubber sole, this rendition of the archive model takes a more pared back approach to others in the four-pack. Wales Bonner’s signature tailoring and detail heavy approach is brought to life through the textured pony hair which covers the majority of the upper. The smooth leather at the toe, tongue, and heel provides a striking contrast, topped off with the designer's distinctive stitchwork for a finishing touch.
