A colour combination that has not yet been seen on ‘the one that started it all’, the Nike Jordan brand begin 2019 with the flying success of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG – introducing this ‘Neutral Grey’ colourway to the sneaker’s storied career. Using black on the base of the uppers, MJ’s brazen charisma looks to have influenced the bright weathered hyper crimson around the collar, with the signature Wings inspiring a new generation to conquer the seemingly impossible. For the first time, stamped branding makes its debut below the midfoot Swoosh, where a “SP 19 Air Jordan 1 High OG” text takes a shot at self-promotion. While luxe grey suedes overlay the leathers up top, the same colouring rounds off the iconic basketball style at the rubber outsole. Inspired by the 1985 original, the fabric and colour combinations on this 'Neutral Grey' release gives the AJ1 a fresh look to match its new motif.
