Oakley was established in 1975 by James ‘Jim’ Jannard, with an aim of breaking boundaries through creations that both looked and performed better than anything else out there. Since then, the brand has made a name for itself as an eyewear pioneer. The Hydra Sunglasses are based on Oakley’s classic Razor Blade frames from its surf archives, referenced in the original Oakley B1B logo at the temple.
