Designed in 1968 by Olympic coach and Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman, the Cortez was the company’s first track shoe. Its release in 1972 signified the start of what would become Nike’s world domination in the sneaker field. This women’s version is rendered in pure white leather with a simple white rubber outsole, allowing the iconic shape to shine through.
