Conceptualised by Tinker Hatfield and brought to life by fellow design Eric Aviar in 1992, the Flight Huarache was inspired by water-skiing booties with its neoprene-based exoskeleton combined with a minimalist sandal-like execution eschewing the typical bulky basketball shoe design that defined the era. Now reissued for 2014, the OG design is kept largely intact with its premium leather uppers and perforated toe box.
