George Cox’s Monkey Boot is a British subcultural icon, so it’s fitting that it’s given a rework this season via Fred Perry and Nicholas Daley. The usual smooth uppers are replaced by tumbled brown leather — save for the green heel panels — and accented with yellow stitching to adhere to the collection’s ‘70s-inspired aesthetic. The usual chunky rubber sole and heel pull tabs remain, as usual, with the latter detailed with laurel wreath branding.
