Colourways are often self-referential when it comes to Air Jordan, with a vast archive filled with grails providing ample inspiration. The latest from the iconic line, a rework of the Air Jordan 5 dubbed “Racer Blue”, showcases exactly that.

Suede Uppers

The sneaker — which is releasing in both GS and full sizing — is designed to give the understated look; the uppers are cut from black suede and accented with the shoe’s namesake hue throughout, giving an appearance that’s not too dissimilar from the OG “Black Metallic” colourway that debuted in 1990.

Jumpman Branding

Furthering that classic, court-focused look, all the sneaker’s iconic details remain intact, like the famous Jumpman branding at the tongues and that model synonymous, shark tooth-adorned sole unit underfoot.
