Converse x Off-White Chuck 70Optical White

Making its sartorial debut, the Chuck 70 Off White from Converse sees an all-American icon walk in the footprints of the man of the moment, Mr Virgil Abloh. Saying goodbye to the open sourced nature from its first release, classic canvas is favoured over the translucent uppers we’ve seen prior. The diagonal lines that have shaped Off-White land onto the flat, rubber sole, with the famed zip tie wrapping around the lacing in a safety orange hue. Marked by the industrial stamp on the medial section, the release remembers the moment the Chuck Taylor was created with “1917” and “Malden, Massachusetts” recalling its origins. Highlighting the All Star branding, an emergency orange tab sits at the ankle, with a hint of colour under the geometric rubber outsole.
