NIKE NOCTA HOT STEP AIR TERRA

Since their debut collection in 2020, Nike and Drake’s NOCTA line has been heavily centred around blending performance sportswear with streetwear uniforms from across the globe, leaning in heavily on the style of athletes and artists Drake grew up idolising.

The latest from the two, their debut sneaker dubbed the Hot Step Air Terra, showcases a continuation of their founding ethos.

The sneaker comes in two colourways — black and white — and represents a deep dive into the Swoosh’s vast and grail-filled archives. The uppers are cut from pebbled leather that’s layered and perforated — in a way reminiscent of Nike’s icons from the ‘90s — then joined to an Air-cushioned sole to further the retro-inspired look. The outsole, meanwhile, comes with G-Tek traction technology, nodding to the Air Terra Humara which inspires the shoe’s name.
