THE TRANSITIONAL EDIT

As the seasons begin to shift, END. curates an edit to help guide you through the upcoming cooler months.

The arrival of September marks the beginning of not just shifting weather patterns, but also the way we all dress in response to temperatures dropping. With the ability to layer and accessorise, the transitioning weather quickly becomes an opportunity for experimenting and self-expression through styling. In light of that, END.’s Transitional Edit curates a selection of menswear and womenswear to help guide you through the upcoming seasonal shifts.

The edit showcases a hybrid of contemporary and luxury-leaning brands, paired with streetwear and elevated casuals. For the menswear, Acne Studios’ zeitgeist-capturing denim is paired with an array of garments, ranging from cable knit cardigans from about:blank to Carhartt WIP’s classic workwear-inspired jackets.

Elsewhere, an abstract-patterned fleece from JW Anderson reflects the designer’s singular aesthetic, balancing utility with experimentalism. Echoing the seamless combination of high-end fashion and streetwear throughout the edit, a woollen overcoat from Dries Van Noten is paired with Acne Studios sweatpants and Nike Air Max Plus sneakers.

The styling approach continues with the womenswear, with the looks sitting at the intersection between streetwear and more refined and luxurious style codes. Echoing the contemporary trends of luxury and workwear merging, Carhartt WIP’s Detroit jacket is paired with Loewe sunglasses, a Wales Bonner striped shirt and an Acne Studios multi-pocket shoulder bag.

Elsewhere, the Transitional Edit showcases how to accessorise when the temperature begins to drop, pairing an oversized Marni scarf with offerings from Scandinavian favourites Acne Studios and GANNI. Further emphasising the relaxed refinement of the edit, a Carhartt WIP blazer is paired with a Jean Paul Gaultier shirt and tie, an Acne Studios skirt and a New Era E by END. cap.

Showcasing that colder weather doesn’t mean colour needs to be sacrificed, a Weekend by Max Mara knitted jumper arrives in a bold Fair Isle pattern, paired with a GANNI soft wool balaclava, a lime green KNWLS bag and chunky hoop earrings by Missoma and Lucy Williams.
