Reviving a lost classic, Reebok team up with Pleasures to share their arachnid-inspired Beatnik.
Originally released in 1994, the Reebok Beatnik seamlessly melded outdoor aesthetics with a comfortable sandal style. Capturing the hearts of Japan shortly after release, the silhouette cultivated a sizeable cult following in the country which culminated in a collectors culture around the elusive model. Now re-releasing the sandal, Reebok have teamed up with Alex James' Los Angeles-based streetwear brand, Pleasures, to deliver an arachnid inspired version of the Japanese streetwear legend.
Detailed with embroidered Old English branding to the strap, a large spider's web sits in white thread across the forefoot of each shoe. Constructed with a smooth suede and complete with a tarantula emblem to the heel strap, the Reebok x Pleasures Beatnik sandals are the perfect way to introduce a boost of esoteric aesthetics to your summer rotation.
The Reebok x Pleasures Beatnik Sandal is available for registration online now via END. Launches.
