The momentum with Nike’s Dunk is something that shows no signs of slowing, especially with the Swoosh releasing the sneaker in a slew of different colourways and material constructions. With the latest, dubbed the “Cacao Wow”, Nike continues to put the iconic sneaker under the spotlight, with a heavy emphasis placed on the finer details.
Intricate Detailing
As the name would imply, the sneaker is heavily inspired by the hues found on cacao trees: the uppers, which are crafted using mesh and leather, are rendered in earthy tones of green and brown to mimic the tree’s fruit and leaves.
Two-Tone Sole Unit
For added detail, the sneaker’s overlays feature intricately-stitched patterns throughout, while the laces come with a teal, bracelet-like dubrae to complete the look.
