New Balance and Stone Island’s partnership is one rooted in shared design principles, with both brands taking an unwavering stance towards innovation and premium quality. The two reunite to usher in a significant milestone for New Balance and its coveted Made in UK division, marking the first collaborative take on the all-new 991 v2.
The collaboration takes inspiration from repurposed industrial spaces, reflected in the muted colour palette of black, olive and grey that appears throughout the sneaker. The sneaker’s construction is a direct nod to the industrial theme, with coated, texturised leather foxing and mesh that mimics latticed metal. To complete the collaborative look, Stone Island’s iconic compass logo features detailed at the tongues, mirroring the understated hues found throughout the sneaker.
