NEW BALANCE X AURALEE XC72 – REGISTER NOW
6 October 2022New Balance and Auralee reunite with two premium reworks of the footwear label’s XC72.
Since the early days, New Balance has championed an approach to design rooted in understatement and refinement, often favouring a low-key take on colourways and a meticulous, premium stance on craftsmanship. In the short space of time since Auralee was founded in 2015, the label has quickly rose to become one of Japan’s most exciting emerging brands, largely down to its commitment to the very design codes shared by New Balance.
Their ongoing partnership is a celebration of premium craft and stripped-back aesthetics, with their latest collaboration being no exception to that. The collection comprises of two reworks of New Balance’s XC72, with one coloured in an earthy brown colourway, while the other is rendered in understated hues of teal and grey. The approach to materials is elevated, too, with a combination of leather and suede — in both hairy and smooth form — compounding the elevated look and feel.
