adidas Consortium x Kinfolk UltraBOOST - Register Now on END. Launches

The original UltraBOOST that launched in the early months of 2015 quickly established itself as the most impressive example of the high-performance functionality and meticulous craftsmanship that has come to define the adidas running shoe roster.

The UltraBOOST Collective was formed later that year as an opportunity for some of the most revered brands and designers from around the world to create their own distinctive take on the shoe. For AW18, the UltraBOOST Collective is comprised of A Kind of Guise, Engineered Garments, Études and Kinfolk.

Coming together to create Kinfolk back in 2008, the friends behind the collective gathered from as far-flung as New York, LA, and Tokyo, brought together with a mission to create products and experiences that captured their interests and sensibilities.

Bringing this combined creativity born of different upbringing and cultural experiences to the Kinfolk UltraBOOST, the collective produce a refined, minimalist take on the sneaker. A shining testament of how in sync the Kinfolk contributors have become, what could have been an overload of competing elements is instead a considered study in shades of blue, rendered across a two-tone Primeknit upper and luxurious nubuck leather on the vamp overlay and heel clip.

Striking a balance between contemporary elegance and futuristic technologies, the Kinfolk UltraBOOST brings this year's UltraBOOST collective to a blistering conclusion.
